1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the services provided by Transfer Otopeni ("we", "us", "our") through the website https://transferotopeni.com ("Website") and any related communication channels (email, phone, messaging apps).
By making a booking, using our Website or our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our services.

2. Services
We provide pre-booked airport transfer and private chauffeur services primarily between Henri Coandă International Airport (Otopeni) and locations in Bucharest and other destinations in Romania, as specified on our Website or in your booking confirmation.
All services are provided with professional drivers and licensed vehicles that comply with applicable Romanian and EU legislation.
3. Booking & Confirmation
3.1. Bookings can be made online via our Website, by email or by phone. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including:
- Full name and contact details
- Pick-up and drop-off address
- Flight number, date and time (for airport transfers)
- Number of passengers and luggage
- Special requirements (e.g. child seat, extra luggage, special assistance)
3.2. Your booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation email or message from us. We reserve the right to refuse a booking at our discretion.
3.3. You must check the confirmation details carefully and notify us immediately if any information is incorrect.
4. Prices & Payment
4.1. Prices displayed on the Website are in the currency indicated (usually RON) and may include or exclude VAT, as specified.
4.2. The final price of your transfer will be communicated at the time of booking and confirmed in writing. Any additional services requested on the spot (extra stops, route changes, waiting time beyond the included limit, upgrades) may be subject to additional charges.
4.3. We may offer different payment methods, such as:
- Online card payment (via secure payment processor)
- Bank transfer
- Cash or card payment to the driver (where available and agreed in advance)
4.4. For some bookings, full prepayment may be required in order to confirm the reservation. If payment is not received within the specified time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
5. Cancellations, Changes & No-Show
5.1. You may cancel or modify your booking under the conditions and within the time limits specified on our Website or in your booking confirmation.
5.2. Unless otherwise stated, the standard policy is:
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pick-up may be charged up to 100% of the total booking value.
- No-show (if the passenger does not appear at the agreed pick-up location and time, and cannot be contacted) may be charged 100% of the booking value.
5.3. Changes to date, time or route are subject to availability and may result in a price adjustment. We will inform you of any difference in price before confirming the change.
6. Delays & Waiting Time
6.1. For airport pickups, we monitor flight status where possible. If your flight is delayed, the driver will adjust the pick-up time accordingly, within reasonable limits.
6.2. A certain amount of waiting time is usually included in the price (for example, up to 60 minutes after the flight has landed, or up to 15 minutes for city pick-ups). Additional waiting time may incur extra charges, as indicated on our Website or in your booking confirmation.
6.3. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: heavy traffic, accidents, road closures, extreme weather conditions, police checks or other unforeseen events.
7. Passenger Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Behave respectfully towards the driver and keep the vehicle clean and undamaged.
- Comply with all legal requirements, including the use of seatbelts.
- Not smoke, consume alcohol or illegal substances in the vehicle.
- Not carry illegal, dangerous or prohibited items.
- Ensure that children travel in appropriate child seats (we can provide them if requested in advance, subject to availability).
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate the trip if a passenger behaves in an unsafe, aggressive, illegal or inappropriate manner, without any refund.
8. Luggage
8.1. You are responsible for declaring the correct amount and type of luggage when making the booking. If you travel with oversized or excess luggage without prior notice, we may not be able to accommodate it, and additional charges may apply.
8.2. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to luggage or personal belongings, unless caused directly by our negligence. You are advised not to leave valuables unattended in the vehicle.
9. Liability
9.1. We will always make reasonable efforts to provide your transfer safely, comfortably and on time. However, we cannot guarantee exact arrival times and are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses (such as missed flights, lost accommodation, business losses or loss of profit) caused by delays or circumstances beyond our control.
9.2. Our total liability for any proven direct damage caused by our fault shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific booking related to the claim.
9.3. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. User Account & Website Use
10.1. If you create an account on our Website, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activities carried out under your account.
10.2. You agree not to misuse the Website, not to attempt unauthorized access, not to introduce malicious code and not to use the Website in a way that may harm its operation or other users.
10.3. We may suspend or terminate access to the Website or your account if we detect abuse, fraud or violation of these Terms.
11. Personal Data & Privacy
11.1. We process your personal data in accordance with our Poltica de Confidențialitate and applicable data protection laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
11.2. By using our Website and services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and agree to the way we process your data.
12. Intellectual Property
